Founded by Jeff Munie in 2020, Agave was born from a simple idea: lightweight and durable products can take a weight off your shoulders and the planet.
Before Agave, Jeff spent years developing high-quality products at YETI in Austin, Texas. Austin, a city for lovers of the outdoors, became the inspiration for the Agave pack. We designed and tested prototypes while running the Greenbelt, biking around Lady Bird Lake, and swimming at Barton Springs.
The pack is the first of several designs on his bench. More are on the way.

Once the design was right, we took it to Kickstarter to see if anyone else felt the same way about carrying three bags for one trip. They did. The campaign funded, and those first backers put the pack through real use and told us what to fix.
Their feedback shaped the pack you can buy today, from the waist belt adjustment to the drawstring closure. We're still small, still improving it, and still listening.
